One Company a place for all: Google

Which person will not want to be a part of something big? Everybody generally wants to be associated with at least one such “big” thing. Well the point is  that the Internet search giant Google has emerged as the most sought after company for business and engineering graduates according to two surveys. The survey aslo terms the company as the world’s  “most attractive employer” followed by close rival Microsoft.

Google holds the top spot among 50 businesses and engineering companies, according to a survey conducted global employer branding firm Universum.

About Google, the surveys said, “Google’s number one position is no surprise. Due to its remarkable brand image, students worldwide see it as a company they would like to work for.”

However, the second choice made by business and engineering graduates is different. Pricewaterhouse takes the second place for most B-school students, while Microsoft is the second best place for engineering students.

“The employers that feature in this Top 50 all have one thing in common: they successfully appeal to current and future talent, and they are aware of how scarce talent is,” Universum said.
